Vick flying high!
Mike Vick is back! The Philadelphia Eagles have taken the risk and reward and signed him to a 2 year contract. When i first heard the news i was in shock! I'm thinking the Eagles already have McNabb so there isn't a need for a QB. But as i broke it down further the Eagles have a great front office and a great owner who goes out and takes chances on players. T.O was a risk but Vick is a even bigger risk. But to me the gamble was easy, Vick is a talent like none other. The combination of speed, power and a cannon for a arm, you knew he would get a second chance to play. One of only two QB's to run for 1000 and pass for 2000 in a season, Vick also knows he has along way to getting his name back. What he did was wrong and some people will never forgive him. after doing 18 months in prison you can do alot of soul searching with in yourself. Tony Dungy is a well respected man around the NFL and his thoughts on Vick are what most people are saying. He did his time now let him play. For me its that simple, i was and still am a huge Vick fan. But for me to expect him to come back and be the player that he was before right away would not be fair at all. Some say the Eagles are just going to use him as QB. you better believe Andy Reid has a package in place that will scare any defense. Two years from now we might be sitting here and Vick is a starting QB again in the NFL. I hope Vick is sorry for the crimes he commited and that he rises back to where he was befor. Picture this, McNabb,Vick,Westbrook and Jackson on the field at the same time...........

Mr. Daniel, I think Dungy was the best thing for Vick. I think Vick is sorry and is going to use this chance to really get back on track. Big ups to the Eagles for giving this man a chance to set things right. Everyone deserves a second chance. With Dungy and McNabb in Vick's corner, I'm sure Vick will be ok off the field and getting his "mojo" back on the field. I'm excited to see what goes done.
